“Time to sell a truly one of a kind Subaru STI which I have owned from new in late 2004 (which had been changed to 2005 STI specifications (centre console, door trims, DCCD 6speed gearbox, 5x114.3 hub conversion).
As the car sits now all modifications were completed between 1-2 years ago. There is only around 5000 km on the built 2.5ltr engine. The car is rarely driven and only has 67,xxx on the odometer since 2004. The car has been engineered for the replacement engine and modifications.
The engine is a built 2.5ltr genuine Subaru block which has been extensively prepared including CNC close deck, torque plate, darton sleeves, 14mm head studs etc (full specification list available). The heads have had extensive work and have been CNC ported to a custom map, larger valves and bigger camshafts. The engine makes 612 whp at 1.9 bar on E85. The turbo system is a custom low mount setup mounted on a twin scroll manifold, which is connected to a custom v-mount and radiator setup and carbon fibre shroud to extract hot air.
The fuel system includes a 5ltr surge tank mounted to twin walbro in tank pumps and twin bosch external pumps and includes larger hardlines and all braided lines are made of Teflon so that any fuel can be used. The car has a tune map for BP98 and E85. The car is controlled by a MoTeC M800 ECU.
All engine bay components and tanks have been custom made to show symmetry and simplicity compared to the original Subaru engine bay.
The car was completely stripped back and a WRC custom wide body was installed and car painted in custom Lamborghini blue. The car now runs 18x10.5 enkei RCT4 wheels.
Suspension brake and steering components of car have been all replaced to include genuine Ra-R 6 pot front brakes, ohlins coilovers, rear subframe, endlinks etc to make this a very competent track car.
The interior was also replaced with genuine and very rare Subaru S203 front and rear seats (number 462/600). Centre console and door trims were covered with alcantra and all plastic pieces used as moulds to make carbon fibre replacement panels including front wiper cowl, rear parcel shelf. There are defi gauges and a MoTeC ADL and custom mounted in the steering wheel a MoTeC SLM to show rev lights and lights for monitoring boost pressure, engine temp, indicator function etc.
All parts used to construct this car are bespoke or very rare which makes this a very unique car.
Only serious enquires will be responded to. The car has been on the cover of Fast Fours, Perth Street car and Banzai (2011) and will be on the cover of Fast Fours and feature in Zoom magazine (2013). Note all photos are from photography Brodie Butler (Brodiebutler.com). This car is selling for a fraction of what it cost to build. A full parts list will be available for genuine enquires.”
Holy shit. This is epic.
